Cool jacket, some shipping delay

I recently bought a corduroy jacket from Aelfric Eden. The jacket itself is really stylish and the corduroy material feels durable, not flimsy at all. It was a good price for the quality too. However, shipping took a bit longer than I expected, around 12 days to reach me in Florida, and the tracking updates weren't super frequent which made me a little antsy. Everything arrived safely though, and the fit was true to size based on the measurements provided. I wish they had faster shipping options, but I'd still consider buying from them again for their unique designs.

How long does shipping usually take to like, California? Trying to get a jacket before a trip next month.

I'm in LA and it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for my orders to arrive. Sometimes a little faster if I'm lucky. I wouldn't bank on it for something super time-sensitive in less than 3 weeks.

From my experience, they're already pretty oversized. I usually wear a large and the large hoodie I got was definitely big enough without sizing up. So, probably true to size for the intended fit.

Yeah, what the other person said. They're meant to be loose. I got my usual size and it fits exactly like the models. Don't size up unless you want it super baggy.

How does Aelfric Eden compare to like, SHEIN or ASOS for quality? Is it a step up, or pretty similar?

I'd say it's generally a step above SHEIN, but maybe on par with some of the better stuff from ASOS. The fabrics feel a bit more substantial for the price. Definitely not Jaded London quality, but better than fast fashion bottom tier.

Definitely better than SHEIN, imo. The clothes feel thicker and the prints hold up better. With ASOS it's hit or miss, but Aelfric Eden is more consistently decent quality for streetwear.

Returns were pretty straightforward for me. You initiate it online and then send it back. You do have to cover your own shipping costs though, which sucks a bit.
